What Guests Are Saying
Belle Starr Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a top choice for campers. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lake views, and spacious pull-through sites, with ample wildlife to observe. Some concerns include limited restroom availability during off-peak months and the presence of stickers in the area, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

W-26 was very shaded and quiet while we were there for a week and half. The storms that came through caused a power surge and we lost our GFCI in the trailer. While this was just a minor inconvenience, it caused a trip to the local hardware store for a new GFCI outlet and then time to replace it. Once the repairs were made all was good. The only thing that was of a concern was the fact that we had to make several trips to the sanitation station. It would be nice if the park had sewage hook up to eliminate the need to carry/transfer the waste via a sewage dolly where I witnessed what looked like a few people had missed the mark.
We are planing on returning soon and then again in the fall.

We have camped at Belle Starr for over 40 years and it has been our favorite place, but the last few times we have been there, not do much! The campground is in the worst condition that we have ever seen it. There are piles of dead trees piled everywhere and the grass is always tall. Also, we have been there twice since April 1st and the ticks are terrible. Both times, we have had numerous ticks and tick bites!! This is the Corps largest campground on Lake Eufaula and always has many campers. I would think that they could take better care of the park. Not a happy camper!

Spot C63 has two dead trees on the southwest side of the spot that if the fall during a thunderstorm or otherwise will damage RVs and/or vehicles. I reported this same issue last year. Please have them taken down. Thank you!
