What Guests Are Saying
Belle Starr Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a top choice for campers. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lake views, and spacious pull-through sites, with ample wildlife to observe. Some concerns include limited restroom availability during off-peak months and the presence of stickers in the area, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

Nice big drive thru. Lots of trees. Beautiful park. You share water. Camped in October and lots of sand burrs. Dogs feet were hurting from the burrs. We took the dogs home.(3 hour round trip)

Sandburs were a problem. We seen people pull up and just leave their campsite instead of staying they were so bad.

All the prime empty spots are so annoying. People reserve them and don’t show up when they should be charged extra for not using them. There are a lot of people that would gladly take their spots. The sand burrs are atrocious and a very huge problem. Thinking it’s time to switch campgrounds. Such a beautiful park very poorly maintained.

Sites are close to each other. Bathrooms are awful.

Campsite was right on the shoreline, which is a nice sandy one. Lots of folks fishing in the area, which was calm compared to the open part of the lake. Bathroom took almost a day to get restocked with toilet paper, so bring some of your own, just in case. Sand burrs are a menace in this park, so be aware that you'll be picking them out of everything during your stay. Great sunrises and sunsets at this part of the lake. Overall, a nice park that we'll stay at again, but maybe try at at different time of year because of the burr situation.

We love Belle Starr. Beautiful views. Nice spacious sites. However, the stickers were incredibly thick, at least 1" tall and very problematic for our pups. The property desperately needed to be mowed.
Ww met great neighbors.
We ate in Eufaula twice. Love Captain John's. Es Hideaway has amazing Bread Pudding (and I'm not even a fan of bread pudding). The food was moderate.

We always enjoy Belle Starr and visiting on the lake. Wish their bathrooms were a little nicer and got woke up one night I People yelling that other people took their spot.
