What Guests Are Saying
Belle Starr Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a top choice for campers. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lake views, and spacious pull-through sites, with ample wildlife to observe. Some concerns include limited restroom availability during off-peak months and the presence of stickers in the area, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

Bathrooms need a bit of fixing up. Could use a laundry mat. But other than that the camping and fishing was great!

Great place to camp, close to water, very quiet, friendly staff. Our site was also shady all day.

Campground is good with good beach areas. Camping spots are sharing water so make sure to bring a faucet splitter And plenty of extra water hose. Some water hookups are quite a distance.

We really loved the spot we chose and enjoyed the area and stay immensely. The only real difficulty that we encountered was the out of control ants. Within hours they were in our camper. As we looked closer, we discovered that the ant hills are thick around that spot (others probably too). We had some ant trap baits that helped lessen all the ants, but, they were a hastle. Otherwise, we loved the nice cool breeze coming off the water and enjoyed walking the campground and basically just enjoying our trip.
