Beautiful campground. The park is well kept. The bathrooms are clean and stocked. We had a very peaceful stay.. We camped with 5 kiddos under 5. The. camp area was perfect for them with close access to a small playground area and an open field with soccer goals. The swim beach was perfect for our family as well. There were deer, geese, ducks, pelicans, many other birds to watch. The only thing is that they actually do lock the front gate at 10pm, so be mindful or you will get locked out!

We were there during the work week so the camp grounds was very quiet and vacant.

1. Breaker for electrical at campsite popped several times.
2. No golf carts allowed, but electrical bicycles are allowed
3. Boat dock in poor repair
4. Ramp to boat dock not connnected
5. Limited water hydrants
6. Unfriendly camp hosts and rangers

First time visiting and will definitely be getting a return visit. Beautiful hidden gem. Water unfortunately seemed low due to the time of year but site was clean and peaceful. Restrooms/showers were clean but very hot due to lack of ventilation/fans/ac like some of the state parks but definitely not a deal breaker, its to be expected when camping in August! Lol. Will be back.

Site are good size, clean and well shaded. Just wish they had 50 amp breakers instead of 30 amp breakers.

General

- Entrance Gate will be open from 6am - 10pm from 1 April through 31 October Entrance Gate will be open from 6am - 8pm from 1 November through 31 March
- The consumption of alcoholic beverages at the Spencer Creek swim beach is prohibited.
- No person shall bring or allow dogs, cats, or other pets into developed recreation areas or adjacent waters unless penned, caged, on a leash under 6ft in lenth or otherwise physically restrained.
- Wild or exotic pets and animals,or any animals displaying vicioius or aggressive behavior,or otherwise posing a threat to public safety, or deemed a public nuisance are prohibited from project lands and waters unless authorized by the Distrcit Commander.
- A camping unit at one or more campsites at any one lake for a period longer than 14 days durring any 30-consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.
- American the Beautiful/Golden Age/Golden Access passes are limited to one campsite per pass. Pass holder must be present or discounnt may be terminated.
- Pass holders will be asked to provide the physical pass at time of check in. Failure to provide such pass or pass misuse may result in discount termination or may void pass validity all together.
