The only reason it does not get a five star is beacuse the previous party dumped all thier fish bait, cleaned fish, and cooking grease at the campsite. I hope this is not indicative of the crowdthis campground draws.
The Camp Host goes above and beyond the call of duty and is very friendly and helpful.
Bathrooms are clean.

Beautiful spacious site on the water, quiet campground, wonderful, friendly host. Couldn't ask for more, except maybe some trails.

The campground could have really used a good mowing. There also appeared to be multiple full time campers here and some were a little unsightly. This was our first visit to Copan…definitely not one of our favorites.
