Washington Cove is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities, beautiful lake views, and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, well-prepared sites, and amenities like playgrounds and nearby fishing opportunities. However, some guests noted issues such as inconvenient water access, rocky terrain in certain areas, and the need for upgrades to electrical service. Overall, it remains a popular destination for camping enthusiasts.

The lack of in person check in is frustrating, we actually paid double we paid for the primitive camping area that was in the low spot of the area, no lake view. So was unable to cancel online so we could get a better spot for more money even though we didn't need electricity or water we were on 3 motorcycles with tent. So online sucks...
The park ranger was very nice the lake was beautiful the bathrooms were clean and stocked and a camp neighbor gave us a bunch of firewood.

Washington Cove is a fun campground which is well maintained. Bathrooms are clean and site are well prepared. There is water and electric and wish they had sewer rather than a dump station. The campground has wooded sites and sites on the lake. There are playgrounds for the kids and plenty of room to roam.

Nice water front space. Plenty of room for tow vehicle and cars, boat, etc. Great morning shade, but zero evening shade. I would stay here again, but not in July or August. Pick Nick table is on the wrong side of the space.

Awesome place lots of shade for sure going back. The volunteer shared his fire wood with me that was so nice. Clean place close to the water I like it.
