However, some guests noted issues such as inconvenient water access, rocky terrain in certain areas, and the need for upgrades to electrical service. Overall, it remains a popular destination for camping enthusiasts.

Was very disappointed. We reserved the handicapped site at Washington Cove and the rocks they put in are way too large. My wife twisted her ankle on large rocks. After driving around I noticed a lot of the sites were the same. You need crushed rocks. The maintenance was terrible lots of trees cut down and huge piles of branches that attract snakes. About the only thing good is the camp host she and her husband were very nice and helpful. We camp there several times a year but not sure if we will be back. It has really gone downhill in the past couple years.

Such beautiful place, the views were stunning. The staff very helpful. The only thing I thought was odd was they locked the gates at a specific time. Which was 10pm so if you left for an emergency, do was in town enjoying a movie, etc. You cave no way of getting back in.
