I have loved this site as a 1/2 way stop on trips to visit my grandkids in Texas and return to Nebraska since 2018. It has always been a lovely experience for a few days, mostly filled with fishing oriented campers who respect quiet times because they are going to be up at dawn to get out on the lake. It is well maintained, sites are mostly level and have a good distance between to feel you have privacy.

The area we were at is a beautiful spot with lots of trees. Our spot is gravel which a lot of them are , although the spots on the opposite side are paved. The gravel spots have not been leveled in quite a while and really need to be. Other than that everything was clean and ready to use.
