The campground has ample spacing, but beware day users entering your campground and staying until park close. Trash was left in the fire pit which brought in roaches and other bugs. There was also trash throughout the campground, including a large pop up tent. It is quite buggy there, but no ticks. The shower does have hot water.

Spaces were small without room to back in, not even close to what we could in anyway use. We counted this one up to experience and bit the bullet moving on to another camp ground. While they had posts for electricity, I did not even get out to check if they worked. Between the misrepresentation of the size of the spots and the bugs all over the place, we chose to leave.

Gentry Creek was amongst the best of any federal campsite we've ever used. In general USACoE campgrounds are fantastic, but this one shines. Bathhouses have been rebuilt with dedicated shower/toilet facilities. The entire place is clean and well-manicured. And with a senior pass it is so affordable.

Only reason I’m giving a 2 star review is because I actually showed up a day late to my reservation and my campsite was trashed, looked like nobody even made an attempt to look at it or clean it up, we picked a full trash bag of garbage and broken bottles before we could even set camp. Overall the experience at the campground as a whole was nice, it was quite peaceful and secure. I wouldn’t rely on there being any usable fire wood laying about so definitely bring your own firewood if possible.
