The gate attendants are wonderful. The park has several dead trees at the campsites that need to be removed for safety reasons. Wish we could stay more than a revolving 14 days per 30 if the park isn't full. We love to camp there.

boat ramp at the courtesy dock needs repair, you either have to go in sideways and back off the ramp or back out until your drivers side door is in a foot of water

I was disappointed at the condition the sites were in. We have camped here for several years and was surprised at how everything had not been taken care of. The fire pit you couldn’t use nor the charcoal area. Both the concrete around them had broken off and sunken on one side to the point you couldn’t use them. They were mowing while we were there and we had another couple we were camping with. While we were setting out talking they decided to mow so close to us we could not speak to each other because they decided to mow close to our camp sites. At one time he stopped mowing and started talking to us about how pretty the day was and so on. Everything else was fine, even the camp host was very friendly.

The primitive area doesn't seem to be getting enough attention. Several of the tables, grills, or firepits are either missing or broken. However, the staff it friendly, bathrooms clean and overall a wonderful experience.

Location is on top of a hill with great shade until later in the afternoon, where there's a break in the trees. 4-star rating for the following reason: have to share a water spigot with #6; is not great for larger campers (we are fortunate for our 24-ft bumper pull) but larger campers (5th wheels or anything longer than 28-ft would be a tight fit. You do not see the water in this location when trees are in full foliage. If you want water views, utilize other spots on the water line.
