Dock in disrepair and in unsafe condition. Dead tree hanging over camp site we preferred. Several campsites unattended by occupants. Bathrooms in dire straits.

We enjoyed the camp sight we had. The beach area was over grown in weeds, the courtesy boat dock was gone so it was hard to load and unload the kids on the boat. The camp host said the pay system wasn’t working correctly, had a hard time paying for our camp. We reserved the pavilion and it was nice. We stayed at a corps camp at Pomona lake in Kansas and there was nothing bad or broken there. People were working and maintaining the campground and facilities like needed. Nice big bathrooms and showers. People were so nice and friendly. They wanted campers to come back. Wish it was closer to Tahlequah. I don’t know what the problem is but feel like it’s in the management.

The camp hosts are friendly, and check-in is quick. The grass needed to be mowed around our campsite.

Good trip, only thing I would add for this trip is to remove some of the dead trees around site concrete pads. There are several long since dead trees that may fall and cause serious damage on camper personal items. Thanks

The park was the cleanest and most well maintained park of all the ones we have been to. The grass was mowed and the parking pads and tress were all trimmed. There wasn’t any trash in the park and I witnessed the Park Host out picking up trash and cleaning sites as the campers left.
We will certainly booked future camping trips there at Pettit Bay.

Camp experience good except people parking their truck and trailer in our camp spot that were not part of our group. Camp ground still needs mowed and felled trees being eyesore to look at.

Campground experience ok but grounds needed mowed before the national holiday, the grass was very high and bathrooms also needed attention especially with the traffic for the holiday

Beautiful campground with friendly staff. Gorgeous views, safe, friendly park Rangers, abundant wildlife, clear water lake. Private Marina is very nice with bar and food. Other campers seem polite and respectful. Only two or three of the sites have working sewer. Shower house water is cold; no hot water.
