The showers in Pettit Bay II did not have hot water. My site 8 faucet would not shut of allowing the area at my site to be exceptionally muddy. I finally put a 25 ft. hose with a nozzle on it to shut off the water from flowing. I realize that it was a Holiday but a skeleton crew should be on hand to attempt to fix these issues. The camp host told me that they were having problems with the hot water issue prior to one of the major camping weekends. Some areas had not been mowed nor weed-eated. I have been camping at Tenkiller for 56 yrs. with very few issues but I was disappointed this year.

Great staff, great guests, easy in and out, clean restrooms, beautiful lake and campground. The only negative is 97% of the sites don't allow septic use because it the caps are pad locked and the system needs repair. You have to use the dump station.

We love staying at Pettit Bay (PB2)! The only complaint is most of the RV sewer connections are not working (my understanding is that only 3 work). It would be great if these could be fixed. The folks managing the booth and campground hosts are better than 5 star. A huge improvement over the previous year. Our experiences have been awesome: clean, neat, safe, staff available, friendliness, ease of reservations on line and great interactions with other visitors! I also visited the Ranger station near the dam and the service there was fantastic as well. Thank you all

Good views, but restrooms needed thorough cleaning and grounds were full of goat-head stickers. I can't imagine what people with pets were forced to put up with. Also, the water went out to all campers for a few hours one morning. Also, the camping sites were very close together. Good thing there wasn't a lot of noise, except for when the water stopped flowing. The marina had a nice restaurant, but that's about the only positive on my trip. I probably won't be back.

We love to camp at Pettit Bay. Close to home nice swimming area for the kids, good boat ramps but the loading dock has serious holes in the floor that really needs repairs. We use it loading and unloading the kids on our boat and we have to carry them over the holes. There’s some much needed repairs on the playground also, safety issues. We mowed and weed eated our campsite but it wasn’t any trouble.

Beautiful camping in area 2, but the bathhouse wasn’t as clean as I have seen in many state parks. Dump station is in area 1

Very nice campsites, though a few more 50 amp sites would be nice.
James and Tammy are wonderful ❤️
