The bathrooms/showers were completely stopped up at approximately 1800 hrs. By the next morning they were available. I appreciated the action taken as we notified the gate attendants about this problem. On long weekend holidays, the traffic is terrific. Maybe some signs placed in each of the bathrooms asking that Kotex and tampons not be placed in the stools might jar peoples minds that they can clog up the stools. You can't fix stupid. Thanks

Beautiful view. Children had fun fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Helpful gate attendants. Clean restrooms.
Unfortunately we did not have a very good experience on Saturdat evening. We were in lot #32. We had 4 adults and 4 children 10 and under. One family was in a tent and the other family was in hammocks. Our neighbors in lot #33 were extremely loud and vulgar in their language. They increasing got louder and highly intoxicated from 8pm until 12:30 pm. I'm perplexed as I thought curfew was 10pm. They were aware we had small children as we were 20 ft from them. Our neighbors at #34 stopped by the next morning to check on us and proceeded to share this is the 4th time they were next to this couple and this type of activity happens every time. That is very unfortunate and not good for visitors. The couple in #33 drove a white Apac dually truck and the wife drove a black SUV. They were in a fifth wheel camper. I do hope that this issue could be reviewed further for the future visitors. My husband did file a report over the phone and felt he was not taken seriously. The couple in 33 shared directly with us they lived a 1 mile and a half away. Additionally they shared earlier on Saturday afternoon they hoped they would not get rowdy that evening. That was an obvious lie. The gentleman in the Apac truck shared that his grandfather and the grandfathers brothers previously owned one of the boat docks near the loading dock.
We hope to make another visit soon with the intention for it to be enjoyable.

Only one dump site, so you have to drive to the other side to dump. No tv or decent radio reception, so plan to bring dvd movies and a portable music system. Overall, it was fun and the water views were nice.

Even with the rain and unusually cool weather, my 14 day stay was very enjoyable. The park was well kept and the service personnel were very attentive to the needs of campers. The lake view melted away my stresses like magic. Petit Bay is a beautiful park and I find myself returning there year after year. Cell service was not an issue. Satellite service was very good.

It’s always a terrible experience dealing with OK recreation! Terrible customer service! Terrible online booking! Please let Pettit bay and other campsites around lake Tenkiller run there own booking! I wish there was another place to camp around that lake without dealing with OK recreation

Very clean and very spaced campground. Need more water fixtures and 50 amp. Overall - a great campground if you share water faucets and don't need the 50-amp electricity.
