Strayhorn Marina has great rental boats and the owners are extremely helpful and kind!!
El Lago Mexican food in Gore is really good!
Trout fishing below the dam is good entertainment. (When the water is running. You can hear the horns and then about an hour later the water is running.

Strayhorn is my favorite place to camp. A beautiful view from every site.
The cleaning crew could do be better with cleanings the toilets along with the entire shower/toilet combo room but overall it’s tolerable.
We had decent cell phone coverage with ATT but on occasion we would get interrupted signals.

We have truly enjoyed our stay at Strayhorn. The gate attendants have gone above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We love how clean and maintained the park is. We have appreciated the “patrolling “ they do on the golf cart to make sure everyone is safe and taken care of. If you are lucky enough to get a spot here you WILL enjoy it.

Staff were very friendly and help full. Park was clean but, the grounds needed to be mowed and trimmed badly

Nice park most of the time. For some reason part of roads where shut off making it a little inconvenient. There didn't seem to be any reason for road closure.
