There is limited service at the camp site, besides that it is well maintained and absolutely beautiful.

The stalls need some major maintenance. Trying to keep a stall cleaned on black hard wet dirt is exhausting, They all need gates. The heavy maneuver to get in and out of them when you’re old, is very hard on your arms. The trails were not very well marked, they were sporadically marked. Too many big rocks, and the trails need severe maintenance. I would not return.
However, the camp host Brenda was very helpful. You are lucky to have her!

Only camp with 2 horses because that's what most sites have pens for. Electric fence is supposed to be allowed but the interrogation from the camp host I am totally unsure if we should use electric fence or not use electric fence. I was told multiple times our electric fence privileges are going to be taken away. Taken away because if me?? This was my first trip there and I did follow all rules for the electric fence but still felt in trouble for using it. I definitely didn't feel welcome, wonder if that's the reason the equestrian camp was so empty?? If you do camp with more than 2 horses you better reserve multiple sites so you have enough pens. We simply won't be back!!!!!!!!
