What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Lake is highly praised for its beautiful campground, clean facilities, and well-maintained trails, making it a favorite destination for camping and horseback riding. The friendly camp host and the serene environment contribute to a positive experience, with many guests expressing their desire to return. However, some visitors noted maintenance issues with the showers, limited cell service, and the need for upgrades in certain areas, but these did not significantly detract from their overall enjoyment.

Pros: Beautiful campground, nice and level sites, swimming beach nearby, heated bathrooms with flush toilets and showers, hiking trail around lake is about 3 miles, 15 min from restaurants, groceries and laundry.
Cons: For about a year now the showers are cold at Sandy Beach when they used to be warm, no soap in dispensers, and since no camp host while we were there, many dogs roam unleashed. This is not only annoying, but dangerous.

We enjoyed our time as always at Cedar lake, It always very clean around the campsites and bathrooms clean.
There was not hot water in the men's bathroom and no soap in dispensers.
I'm not sure what the deal was, this was a first time to be disappointed in the bathrooms there.

Cedar Lake is a beautiful lake and perfect for kayaking and fishing. Love the walking trail around the lake which provides great views from all different angles. The park area is very clean as well as the bathrooms. We love that each campsite, at least in the Sandy Shore area, has its own access to the lake so you don't have to go to a boat ramp to put in your kayak.

This is my favorite camp because of the miles of hiking trails.

the place where you place your payment is a DISGRACE. It's so full of spider webs you can't read it. at Cedar Lake beach the glass covering was about an inch fallen down so the spiders had easy access. Maybe camp hosts could clean it just once a month but it's an embarrassment that Oklahoma looks like this

Cedar Lake is far and away the nicest, best maintained COE campground we've ever stayed at! The lake and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, and the campground is clean, quiet, and very well cared for. We've already booked here again for next year!

Cedar Lake is a great campground. Pretty isolated, with 3 very nice camp areas. We really enjoyed the large shaded sites at Shady Lane. The other loops were excellent as well, but I would go back to Shady Lane. The worst I can say about this campground was that the showers were too hot. So that says a lot. We loved the 3-mile hike around the lake. Definitely will go back.
