Great spot! Love being in the mountains. Easy to access, drive-up site that allowed me to truck camp comfortably.

We have stayed here many times both with the Scouts and with the family. I love the location and the activities of the surrounding area.
We will be back?

The campground was well-maintained and very nice. We stayed at Site 53, which is right across the road from the bathrooms. Next time I might choose a site a little further from the road but it didn’t bother us. I will definitely be camping at Doris again - great experience.

Campsite was clear and well maintained. Bathrooms were very clean. The map was a bit confusing. There is not always bathrooms or water exactly where the map indicates. It took a bit of exploring to find the facilities.

I was in the first loop 1 to 18. It was nice having the whole area to myself. The deer would walk through just before sunset and at sunrise. I will definitely be staying there again. Just be aware you will not have no cellphone service.
