Doris Campground is a great place to enjoy the Wichita Mountains area. We have stayed there in the individual and group area and it is a great experience every time. There is wildlife, fishing, hiking and pure relaxing all ready to be enjoyed.

Nice wooded sites close to the lake and with access to hiking trails. Sites are somewhat close together and not very private.

We had a great time at the Doris campground and loved site 7a. It rained while we were there and this campground had the tent pad in an excellent spot. We also backed right up to the trails and enjoyed the free roaming longhorns. There was an outhouse restroom close enough and the showers and flushing toilets were just a short drive over. The campground staff was very friendly. Our site had a concrete pad parking space with it, pad with concrete table, outdoor grill, and fire fit. The area has lots to do and explore. There is no cell signal at the campground but is some
At the top of the hills behind. We will be back for sure!
