Our campsite was across from the bathrooms and parking, so there was some engine noise early/late, but it wasn't too bad. The convenience was worth it. There was a longhorn who camped out by the bathrooms a few nights, so that was fun to see up close. Turkey and deer were frequent visitors to our site. Enjoyed discovering the park.

Great campground! Highly recommend. Was greeted by a very friendly staff member who answered all my questions and made me feel very welcome. Clean sites with fire rings and picnic tables. I stayed in a primitive site and the bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of toilet paper :)
I went up to little baldy. Gorgeous view and a great observation area. I would recommend boots/long pants due to vegetation and there not being 1 clear path up (no fault of the park/reserve, people just make their own way up enough that there are dozens of paths).

We had a wonderful time out here. The sites are spaced apart well, the facilities were clean, and the available ice and firewood helped a ton. Will be back!
