Hawthorn Bluff offers a beautiful, well-spaced campground with plenty of shade, lake access, and recreational activities such as fishing and hiking. However, maintenance issues like overflowing trash, bathroom cleanliness, and access to amenities have been noted by several campers. Despite these challenges, many visitors still enjoy their experience and appreciate the park's overall charm and potential for improvement.

A nice clean and quiet campground. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lots of shade but it couldn't keep up with the extreme humidity. We WILL go back.
