What Guests Are Saying
Mcfadden Cove is a well-maintained campground with beautiful lakeside views and a clean, quiet atmosphere, making it a great spot for relaxation. Campers appreciate the friendly hosts and the convenience of nearby amenities, such as a small store and access to fishing supplies. While some improvements are needed, such as additional trash pickup and shower facilities, the overall experience has been positive, with many guests eager to return.

Just a top notch little campground. There’s a small store up the road for snacks and fishing stuff. Only fifteen minutes to town where I used the planet fitness for showers. I went looking for some good steaks. Found Homeland and they cuts meat ( at they least try), Walmart (who knows where that product is from); but there’s a great place called Osage Country Meat Market just west of the little casino on hwy 60. EXCELLENT CUTS. The sirloin and ribeye are well worth it.

I really like this location, however, I highly suggest they add a shower room. That would be nice. I would pay the extra 5 dollars per night for there to be a shower there.

Very quiet as it was near the end of the season. Only about 5 campers. The bridge is closed that is to the left of the exit. We stayed in #14, was paved, nice & level. The water spiked squirted was all over when trying to use it. Was glad there was electric.
