Quiet and fabulous shade. Good internet on Verizon. BUT.... we experienced LOTS of flies as folks and boats left lingering fish smell vs washing it off their gear and the ground. We had to go get fly traps, fly tape and toxic spray. We shortened our stay and left after a couple of days because of this. Maybe it was just the weekend crowd - we arrived Sun, extended our reservation but then left today Weds. morning. No dump station so we drove to Coon Campground nearby to use their dump station.

From Ponca City, Oklahoma, travel 7 miles east on Lake Road. Turn north on to McFadden Cove Road and the camground is on the immediate right. If you cross the dam, you've gone too far.
