What Guests Are Saying
Kiamichi Park offers beautiful, clean, and well-maintained campsites with stunning lake views, making it a popular choice for campers. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and spacious sites, especially in the Juniper loop. However, some experienced issues with weather-related cancellations, communication, and maintenance, particularly concerning overgrown grass and restroom accessibility. Overall, guests express a strong desire to return despite minor inconveniences.

This place is beautiful. We were there only one night, but discussed going back for a longer stay. Everything is well kept and clean. The only thing I found not right is the signage leading to the park entrance. It is not marked well.

Dry quiet and peaceful. We had a wonderful time. Do wish the map and signs were better to find your site.

At time of visit I had the whole camping loop to myself. Stayed 2 nights and no other campers showed up. Super clean and well maintained, park like setting. Going back to same spot in September.

This was my first time in Kiamichi Park… The campsite had a lot of trash left from previous campers in the fire pit (plastic bags, bottles, cans etc) that i cleaned before setting up anything, poison ivy was thick on the tree near the grill, and there are no showers! Website shows showers there are no showers, and small biting ants are also bad… my camper neighbors played loud music all day and most of the night but we’re not in their site… I attempted to ask them to turn the music down at nightfall, but no one was around. I’m on the fence about visiting this park again, no hiking trails (where the eff are the hiking trails?), kayaking was ok, inconsiderate neighbors just bust my bubble (with yappie dogs that wondered into my site. Why aren’t they leashed?!?). Would not recommend, drive the extra 30min south on into TX. lake Pat Mayse great hiking water was clear!
