The grounds are well kept. Scenery is very calmin. The bathrooms need updating and cleaning. Staff need patience in dealing with the public. Cell signal strength was good.

Our stay would have been perfect except for having to run 25 miles back into Bartlesville to get more water hose for water to the trailer. Your faucets are way too far apart. I had to have 150’ of hose to connect to water. That is very poor design by the Corp to do that. Otherwise, the camp host was very pleasant and accommodating.

Pretty well maintained CG on beautiful Birch lake. Clean reastrooms and showers, good access to the water and nice playgrounds for the kids. Friendly staff .

Attendant was not helpful at all, found that our site was not wide enough causing our slide out to stick out into driving lane, he refused to allow us to move to nearest empty site. After a partial setup went walking around area and found the following: Less then 6 ft from table to 3 ft high weeds, sites for the most part only wide enough for very small trailers (you have to deal with very uneven ground to level on, our hitch was over 3 ft high and still not enough) once steps are out you are off the blacktop and had a dropoff of up to 2 ft with a steep incline into weeds. Definitely needs more maintenance. Won't be back.

Lake was beautiful, clean, fresh -- campgrounds were clean and well maintained. Trailer ramp looked level and reasonable but was a nightmare as the ramp, built into the side of a hill, was heavily slanted toward downhill, was also heavily slanted toward the main road, and the paving ended in a drop-off of over a foot to the ground. This means the final step down/first step up was about 2 feet tall. For elderly people, this site is not very good. To even try this site again would require 4-6 inches of leveling blocks for each axle, 12 inches of blocks for each frontal stabilizing jack, and 4-6 inches of leveling block for the rear stabilizing jacks. If you have a rear set of steps to enter your RV, bring an 8-inch extra step for the extension of your steps to terra firma. Many other sites are not this level or convenient. Some sites might be great, but we could not readily identify them for future camping trips.

We were on the main road into the campground. This area is very congested during a holiday weekend and busy.

We love Birch Cove because my husband works around that area so we can go even when he has to work. Our grandkids and kids love the play ground just wish it had a big shade tarp over it so the kids could play no matter what time of the day it was.
