We love going to Birch Lake and always have a great time. Also, Justin is great and very helpful!

Easy camper parking. Clean bathrooms and showers. Quiet area.

The campground restrooms always clean. The campground host is very attentive and very pleasant. The updated picnic tables are very nice.

We had a lot of fun! Next time we will make sure to get a different site. There wasn't room enough for a truck with a boat and a car. That was my only complaint. (Besides the weather and it's Oklahoma so the unexpected storm was kinda expected.)

When we got to our camp site we got set up & the breaker kept tripping. I called the gate attendant Justin he immediately came to our site & the breaker was so hot it burned your hand when you touched it. He moved us to a different spot & the same thing happened in that site. The ranger came & replaced the breaker & it was good for a bit but it would still trip if we ran anything along with the AC. On Sunday we moved to a different site & low & behold guess what happened? The breaker was so hot & if you even touched it, it would trip. Again we called Justin the gate attendant & he had someone come replace the breaker at this site. I love coming to Birch Lake due to the gate attendant being super helpful whenever we need something & you see him patrolling around to make sure everything is good. I feel like the Corp of engineers needs to spend some money to update the wiring at Birch Lake Cove so you can run your AC & have a light on at the same time. It seems like every time we come out here we have this problem. Over memorial day it even burnt up our plug in & our cord had to be replaced. Like I said, i love coming to this lake but I may have to start going somewhere else if they can't fix the electrical issue. I only have a 30amp 27 ft camper so I can't imagine what it does to a 50amp camper. I have been to twin points & tall chief cove & do not like it as well as Birch. I will go further to find one that makes you feel like your family the way Justin does at Birch Lake.

My husband and I booked for a week the week it decided to flood like crazy. We were down at 88 with our girls, we had to pack up at 3am and move because the water was rising and very fast. My husband booked us another site higher up and we set up.... again. The care taker was fabulous! He refunded our money due to us having to move and we enjoyed the rest of our trip, rain and all. Very friendly and clean campground. It is our fave place to go.
