Tall Chief Cove

We have boats at Crosstimbers and location is perfect. We can bring our dogs and leave in camper, be able to check on them without driving home and enjoy ourselves on the lake.
Gate attendant (Kathy) is so very sweet and helpful. Our breaker box at our campground spot blew one morning. My husband had to go to work and it was extremely hot outside already. Kathy came and helped us break down all our camper, canopy , chairs, ice chest and belongings and helped HAND CARRY it to an empty spot only a couple spots away from us. All completely moved and hooked up again in less than an hour. She’s always very friendly and helpful and makes it feel like coming home when checking in.Our six year old grandson loves to stay with us too, When not on the boats he loves fishing from campground and playing on playground.

We love Tall Chief! The campground is easily accessible, beautiful, clean, and has great concrete pads and canopies over the tables. The bonus for us is, Kathy at the gate is the best ever! She is so cheerful, friendly, helpful and you can tell that she loves her job. She is such a delight!

The host at Tall Chief Cove was one of the nicest ladies ever!!! She was so helpful and truly cared about the property!!!

Stayed for nearly 2 weeks and had an awesome time.

Lived in Tulsa for 15 years and never visited this campground. We have now moved to Arkansas and we loved this campground when staying to visit friends. Good sites. Lots of trees. Some great sites right on the water! Easy access for boats and jet skis to the sites! Will be back!

A bit of trouble at the gate. Attendant insisted to see my Senior discount pass, but I do not carry it on my person. She eventually relented and let me in.

We had a great time. The camping spot was nice and tge lake felt amazing. We rented a pontoon while we were there and explored the lake.

Picnic tables under water. Could have let us know about that but, it happens. No toilet paper most of the time and feces spread on the walls of the rest room. Not the best experience.

The grounds are well kept, staff very professional, and easy access to the boat ramp as well as space at the campsite to store the boat if needed.

We will certainly be back and appreciate you accommodating us.

First time camping at Talk Chief and it did not disappoint! Make sure to go to The Lighthouse at Marina to eat while you’re there.
