Tall Chief Cove is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities, friendly staff, and beautiful waterfront sites, making it a great spot for relaxation and family fun. Many visitors appreciate the shaded areas, easy access to the lake, and the helpfulness of gate attendant Kathy. While some sites may be narrow and lack sewer hookups, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

I feel in this day and age more grace could be used towards the elderly.

Tall Chief Cove Campground is very well managed and maintained. Most of the campsites are on or near the lakeshore. Restrooms are clean. I like the policy of closing the Campground for “quiet time” each night!
