Tall Chief Cove is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities, friendly staff, and beautiful waterfront sites, making it a great spot for relaxation and family fun. Many visitors appreciate the shaded areas, easy access to the lake, and the helpfulness of gate attendant Kathy. While some sites may be narrow and lack sewer hookups, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Tall Chief Cove site B-35 needs some serious work. The pad is barely wide enough anyway, but the erosion of the area between the pad and picnic table is so bad that people are using/taking paving blocks from the retaining wall in order to have any sort of area to place the steps from the RV/Trailer. Water source is across the road so everyone driving through the loop must drive over your hose. We will not book B35 for future trips.

The electric box our camper was connected to went down. We had no electricity. After several attempts at reaching someone I was unsuccessful. Therefore, we had to pack up and head home. This cut our trip short and paid for camper we were unable to use. Very disappointing to say the least.
