Tall Chief Cove is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities, friendly staff, and beautiful waterfront sites, making it a great spot for relaxation and family fun. Many visitors appreciate the shaded areas, easy access to the lake, and the helpfulness of gate attendant Kathy. While some sites may be narrow and lack sewer hookups, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

It would help to have more water hydrants for the campsites, over all we love Tall Chief Cove, but some of the sites need to be more level.

We love Tall Chief Cove! The bathrooms are always clean and the Staff is always friendly. Campsites are pretty far apart and it's usually quiet, especially in the fall. I wish they would stay open year round.

Well, not the parks issue, but the wind was cold and strong. We left a day early. Now as for the park, it looked like a plumber had installed a new water hydrant and for 4 to 5 ft around the hydrant it was a MUDDY mess. Any one that cared would not have left it that way. I would fire the person that did it, The grass was still their but no effort to put the clumps back in was done. bad deal.

This is such a wonderful place to go camping. The sunsets are so beautiful there and the camp host is super friendly. The bathrooms are the best I've ever seen at any camp ground. Looking forward to wearing our welcome out here for sure!!!! :)

From Tulsa, Oklahoma, take Highway 75 north to State Highway 20. Take the Skiatook exit, turn west on State Highway 20 and drive about 15 mi. Turn left on Lake Road and proceed about five miles to the campground.
