Tall Chief Cove is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities, friendly staff, and beautiful waterfront sites, making it a great spot for relaxation and family fun. Many visitors appreciate the shaded areas, easy access to the lake, and the helpfulness of gate attendant Kathy. While some sites may be narrow and lack sewer hookups, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

I stayed at site B37 right on the water across from the beach and it was perfect. Large cement tent pad, electric, table, fire ring and grill. Water spigot shared. Very well maintained.

There was no attendant on duty to ask questions to. I was charged at a much higher rate than the posted sign and I don't see a way to correct it. Paid for two nights but packed up and left due to neighboring campers and there is no reimbursement, yet with the campgrounds not being attended there wasn't a reasonable way to resolve the issue. Miserable, over rated and overcharged with no recourse. Ugh!

We had a great time at Tall Chief Cove. It impressed me so much that I got on line and searched heavily for open spots for future summer vacations. I booked spots in July, August, September! It’s really hard to find anything open especially on the weekends. I love the campgrounds and the people running the camp. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I will be back!!! Hopefully it won’t be flooded! You never know in Oklahoma.

Wonderful Corps park to take the grandkids. The park was cleaned up nicely after the heavy rains which caused the temporary closing. Bathrooms expertly cleaned, swim beach clean, and the sweet lady at the gate house could not have been nicer! She was gracious, helpful, and kind!

The people were nice. There was lots to do and the park was very clean even after the flooding that had happened the week before
