We stayed at A09 lot and it was a great spot except it doesn't have its own water hookup you have to use the neighbors next to you so make sure you have over 100 ft water hose.

Tall Chief Cove is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities, friendly staff, and beautiful waterfront sites, making it a great spot for relaxation and family fun. Many visitors appreciate the shaded areas, easy access to the lake, and the helpfulness of gate attendant Kathy. While some sites may be narrow and lack sewer hookups, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Nice quiet campground, even on the 5th of July. Love how they shut the gate at 10:00 pm! Bathrooms were very well maintained and I think cleaned daily. I enjoyed showering in the bathrooms, spacious and private. Sites we’re slightly unlevel, but nothing an experienced camper can’t handle. While we had our own water hydrant we noticed some sites had quite a long stretch and then had to share.

Decent campsite. Gras could’ve been mowed but nice view if the lake. Enjoyed morning coffee outside. Neighbors were nice and quiet. Great stargazing too.

Ricky and Michelle at the gate house are wonderful! The entire area is clean and well maintained. I really appreciate the frequent drive-by inspections. The bathrooms are A+.
