Tall Chief Cove is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities, friendly staff, and beautiful waterfront sites, making it a great spot for relaxation and family fun. Many visitors appreciate the shaded areas, easy access to the lake, and the helpfulness of gate attendant Kathy. While some sites may be narrow and lack sewer hookups, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Grounds were clean and mowed, bathrooms clean, quiet in the evenings. The camp host and Park Ranger were driving by regularly. Cell phone coverage through Consumer Cellular was good.

Great area. Close to boat ramp and swim area. Yet very roomy campsites all asphalt.
Only thing is water hookup are shared at some sites so you need a long water hose

Waterfront campsite beautiful view however 3days of rain and people were being evacuated. Our picnic tables were flooded up to the seats. Water was close to our power pole. It was scary until they opened the dam and water began to recede. But still a nice place to camp.

From Tulsa, Oklahoma, take Highway 75 north to State Highway 20. Take the Skiatook exit, turn west on State Highway 20 and drive about 15 mi. Turn left on Lake Road and proceed about five miles to the campground.
