The area is really nice and clean, well maintained grounds all around. The grass and shorelines are cut and easy to access the water. We enjoy being spread out from the neighbors and having a clean campsite when we get there. Bring extra water hoses though since the spigots are shared and the camper sites are spread out. This is our favorite place in Oklahoma so far!

I highly doubt we will ever stay here again. The flies were absolutely horrible, I mean like the plagues of Egypt! We never ate outside. Spent way too much time zapping flies inside the trailer because every time you open the door, they get in. The old man that works the front entrance has no business working in the hospitality arena. Everyone in our party agreed he was an old grouch, rude, and very unfriendly. We were greeted with a scowl. Yay! He is just mad at the world and takes it out on the guests. The restrooms were decent, cleaned every morning. There were scorpions in the bathroom twice, however, and the floors don't adequately drain the shower water so the whole bathroom slightly floods. We spent all our days on the lake so we still had a great time. The water pumps have to be shared so expect a long walk to get to the pumps. Also, there are no sites with dump hookups on site, which meant we couldn't run our indoor water for washing dishes, hands, and definitely not use our toilet. Not a fan of public restrooms. Tried to purchase a honeypot from Tulsa camping world store but none in stock. This place is okay if you like primitive camping, the price is cheap and you are right by the lake.

Our site was not very shaded so the RV wouldn’t stay cool, but had a great time anyway.

Camping area was very clean. Bathrooms and shower area were very clean. Everything was well marked! We had a great time! Couple of concerns. 1- Don't like having to pay for two nights when we only really need one night! Feels like a ripoff. 2- The boat ramp itself in the water was covered in sand several inches deep, which made it difficult to take your boat out.
