C43 - nice camp site. Beach bank and water clear enough to walk quite a ways out.

Tall Chief Cove is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities, friendly staff, and beautiful waterfront sites, making it a great spot for relaxation and family fun. Many visitors appreciate the shaded areas, easy access to the lake, and the helpfulness of gate attendant Kathy. While some sites may be narrow and lack sewer hookups, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

"Water at site" is misleading as water connections are shared. Sharing between two sites is not a problem when the connections are placed properly. Here about half the sites have the water connection less than 25 ft away, but the shared site needs at least 75 ft (or more). My three hoses were still 10-15 ft short. Fortunately, I had water in my fresh water tank. Sites are not maintained very well. Pads are not level. Worst COE park that we have stayed. The disc golf course is nice.

Although we didn’t get spots close to the water, our camp sites were great. Plenty of room between sites for tents. Very level. Sites 26 and 28/29.

The area is really nice and clean, well maintained grounds all around. The grass and shorelines are cut and easy to access the water. We enjoy being spread out from the neighbors and having a clean campsite when we get there. Bring extra water hoses though since the spigots are shared and the camper sites are spread out. This is our favorite place in Oklahoma so far!

From Tulsa, Oklahoma, take Highway 75 north to State Highway 20. Take the Skiatook exit, turn west on State Highway 20 and drive about 15 mi. Turn left on Lake Road and proceed about five miles to the campground.
