Great atmosphere, very clean, no riff raff. Great selection of different types of campsites. We had a very shaded site and very much enjoyed our visit! See you again!

Tall Chief Cove is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities, friendly staff, and beautiful waterfront sites, making it a great spot for relaxation and family fun. Many visitors appreciate the shaded areas, easy access to the lake, and the helpfulness of gate attendant Kathy. While some sites may be narrow and lack sewer hookups, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

There are some really nice sites here. We were in A-18 which was lakeside with a large, terraced, concrete patio area. Lake access was easy. The only issue we had was the downhill pitch of many of the sites which made leveling our motor home a bit of a challenge. Trailers should have no problem. Showers in A-loop were nice.

The site was very narrow and with the concrete steps and step up made it difficult to put my steps down. We found othe sites that were very nice and will try them next. Not a good site for a 5th wheel with slides.

Nice camp spot outside of Tulsa on a pretty lake. Pretty quiet midweek. A few empty spots on the water even though they were shown reserved. Sad people hold up the reservation and no show on the spots. 30 amp shore power with water spigot at curb shared between sites. We see other rigs bring a splitter and a really long hose to get water at their site.

My favorite campground to be at. It’s beautiful, clean, and everything is well taken care of.

It would be nice if the asphalt for the camper was about 2 ft wider. Also, bathrooms need to be maintained a little better.

We love camping here, its very peaceful and quiet. The lady at the gate, Kathy, is a sweetheart and makes sure all the campers are happy. She is so friendly & helpful.

We really love Tall Chief Cove but lately
There hasn’t been any gate attendants
Spoty at best
Park is clean and so are the restrooms but when it get dark the As—hole teenagers race their cars around loop C and even drive down to the water
Go to the gate no one at the trailers to talk to

From Tulsa, Oklahoma, take Highway 75 north to State Highway 20. Take the Skiatook exit, turn west on State Highway 20 and drive about 15 mi. Turn left on Lake Road and proceed about five miles to the campground.
