We had a great stay here. Lots of space and plenty of trees for shade.

Last minute decision due to Porum Landing closure. The area is well kept but there is little to no beach due to rocks. Also the campground volunteer was not friendly. His camper has a sewer line running near other campsites, and he was up starting his vehicle every morning at 530am disturbing other visitors.

Site 17 DSIS~~
The sites are very unlevel and the asphalt is crumbling around the edges. One wrong move and your RV can go over, or if you mis-step you can break an ankle because the asphalt is crumbling under even the weight of a person.
The tables are at the back of the site, well away from any RV doors.
The grills weren't cleaned out and the firepits were full. I wouldn't grill on there for anything.
The only good thing is the outhouse is clean. However there is no ventilation, so it was extremely 🔥 hot in there.
The water spigots are NOT at each site. We had to go purchase extra hose because all we had was 100'. Make sure you have at least 150'
We have ATT and the coverage is spotty at best.
The 1st picture is of our neighbors RV and site!

We only came to this spot due to construction on our usual place, where you have a place to swim right by your camp, can tie your boat up right by your camp, and you don't have to deal with the volunteer living right in the middle of the campsites with his sewer pipes and nosey attitude. The spot we stayed in looked easy to get into and level by the picture but when we got there, there was a chunk out of the asphalt, a tree right in the way of pulling the truck up to get in straight, and we had to use 3 leveling blocks to get it level.
There is one place to pull a boat up, the rest of the places have large rocks. The volunteer actually told us it was against the rules to leave your boat tied up in this one place. My family had campsite 26 which looked like the closest to the water but you had to walk 100 yards to access a swimming area.
There are a lot of trees so the sites are shaded a lot but be sure to follow ALL of the rules to a tee or the volunteer will call the ranger on you, maybe that's a good thing for some people.
