What Guests Are Saying
Ladybird Landing offers beautiful, peaceful camping spots with excellent fishing and water access, making it a favorite for visitors. However, some tent and RV sites are unlevel and require maintenance, with limited amenities like running water and trash disposal. Overall, many guests appreciate the serene environment and express a desire to return despite minor inconveniences.

This is a beautiful campground with lots of shade. However many of the RV sites are poorly designed for anything more than a small pop up style trailer or tent camping. The access road to sites 27-34 is extremely narrow with low-hanging trees and obstacles like power poles that make it difficult to navigate and back in to a slip.

Very nice campground on a beautiful lake. Camp hosts were great and very helpful. Facilities were well kept and clean. Nice rural area but stores and restaurants nearby.

Booking camp sites on recreation.gov does not always give you a great picture, in either words or actual photo, to see how the sites are set up. We were excited that the site had both water and electricity but the water hook up was on the other side of site 3. No matter how we parked the camper you have to run a hose or cord across the site, not together. Other than that, the camp host was helpful and pleasant.

The campgrounds were ok. Camp 48 had a poor fire pit. Was told we would have running water, yep had to drive up the road for water. The bathroon was equivalent of a porta potty. The bathroom with showers were not close to where we were camping.

Empty park yet particular where we parked. Pull in reservation spot narrow impossible for small RV

The bathroom close to our camping area lost electricity. There were no lights and the showers were freezing. We went to let the camp hosts know, and they already knew but didn’t care and acted like they didn’t know where we were talking about. They told us we could find another place to shower. To know there is an issue and ignore it is not ok. They didn’t even come to check it out, but then again they had been notified and did nothing .

The campground is very nice and peaceful however be warned the showers do not open until mid April from what I was told and only one bathroom is open early in the season. Overall a very nice campground and enjoyed our stay.

Sites were rather small (we have a 40 foot 5th wheel). Had a tough time fitting in.
