What Guests Are Saying
Ladybird Landing offers beautiful, peaceful camping spots with excellent fishing and water access, making it a favorite for visitors. However, some tent and RV sites are unlevel and require maintenance, with limited amenities like running water and trash disposal. Overall, many guests appreciate the serene environment and express a desire to return despite minor inconveniences.

We had our family reunion at lady bird landing, sites 18-22. We had a great time! The campsites were nice! My only complaint is there is only 2 bathrooms for everyone to use but whoever was camping next to it kept locking one of the doors and they had a key! So it was a bit scary when the storms were rolling in and there was only 1 safe place due to someone keeping the other door locked for themselves

Site 34 was initially hard to find. It is not easy to get into since the asphalt pad has a severe drop-off on one side. Trees and the narrow access road limit maneuverability. However, we did like the shade from the trees. This site was also missing the wooden "shelf" for use by the grill. We were there three days and NO ONE from the park staff ever spoke to us or even drove by our site.

Site 33 is a nicely shaded spot, close to a bathhouse and the lake. It was not initially easy to find. Not a lot of space between it and other campsites.

If you're looking for big spaces, excellent views, and peace & quiet, this is a 5 star park.

Site 17 was a super easy site to back our 40' fifth wheel into! Unfortunately, the beautiful rolling landscapes lends itself to a moderately/severely sloping site which made it impossible for us to get completely level. Be prepared to have a way to raise up the back of your camper or trailer about 4" in order to get level with the back of the site sloping downward. Also, the water access is about 75' foot away; we needed a 50' and 25' hose in order to hook up to the RV. This site is well spaced out away from other sites which gives you a lot of area to spread out and space from any neighbors. The dump station is a about a mile away further into the campground on the other loop, so you'll need to pull a tote with your vehicle as it isn't close enough to walk to the dump station. We wouldn't hesitate to book this site again, but we'd come better prepared to be able to get our rig completely level. We full-time RV and rely on good cellphone signal in order to work on the road. Fortunately Stigler Public Library has study rooms that are easy to reserve for no cost because our Verizon mifi hotspot had spotty coverage. Cellphone coverage for phone calls is decent.

The dam is closed and therefore the ATV area was blocked off and we could not drive across the dam itself to get to the other side. The restrooms were cleaned once a day and they are one toilet and shower combination. The playground has a nice tall slide, swings, bouncy things, and a climbing structure. We camped in a tent but the interior roads are in need of some repair and are very narrow and short for many of the rv sites.

We loved it here. Site #40 was perfect for us. The site fit our rig 36' 5th wheel with our boat and truck. Some of the sites are small and roads are tight getting in but this one is perfect. Awesome sunsets. We will be back when it is warmer and green spring break is a little early for us.

Absolutely love Ladybird Landing. Spacious campsites very quiet family friendly. The pads weren’t really level but that doesn’t really bother me too much. I do wish the water was closer to the electric since it was colder out that I would have rather wished to use the heated hose but wasn’t a deal breaker for us.
