It was great. The weather was just right being the last of December. It is a very clean park, even the restrooms was very clean. There where several of us there at the park including a lot of tents, so I knew the restrooms were being used regular. We have been going to this park for several years because it is close to home. Just far enough for a good relaxing weekend. The only draw back is it would be nice if they could put sewer hook ups at each camp site. Yes, we will keep going back. Thank you

Beware of the raccoons if you're tent camping! Put food and scented items in your vehicle at night because the ones in this area know how to open latches on storage containers if you do not put an actual padlock on them. Some can even be aggressive as one was growling and hissing when I attempted to shoo and scare them away.
Other than the raccoons, it is a great campground and only about 10 minutes from the main nature center.

It was awesome! I loved it.
A nice and clean site, it was level and very easy to get my trailer into. The bathroom and showers were spotless, the shower coulda had a little hotter water but it wasn’t cold by no means.
The Chickasaw National Recreation Area is fantastic as well, first time I’ve been in the fall instead of the summer and I felt like I had the park to myself. Definitely recommend going in the fall, the summer crowds are expected but the swimmin ain’t what I’m there for so this was a big plus!
