Beautiful campground. Clean. Well maintained. Had a great time. The only downfall was poor cell service. We'll be back!

we traveled for over 2 months and this was by far the best campground we stayed in, very Clean & quiet. Loved the fact that Reservations are in one camp and walk in were in another camp, didn't have to worry about anyone coming early wanting our site ( which we had at several campgrounds) Rangers were friendly, waved every time they drove by. would def. stay here again and would Highly recommend it. Chickasaw National Recreation Area, Veterans Lake, great hike. Sunsets Awesome at boat launch area

Such a clean and beautiful space. We love that each campsite feels so private! We scheduled our next visit before leaving the day we packed up!

This campground is amazingly peaceful and serene on the days we camped. We were in 56C, a reserved spot. the campsite was not easily accessible by a short travel trailer (26 ft). The pavement was a very steep grade and it was difficult to get leveled. Once situated, all went well. There are plenty of daytrip options to visit and hike and see.
The hosts were good and helpful. I would recommend to others.

The only reserveable area is Loop C. The best campsites are first come/first serve in Loop D. And sites 60-88 in Loop C, which you can reserve. We reserved 53C. Both were advertised as accommodate RV length of 42 and 50 feet. This was significantly inaccurate. It would not work at all for our 35 foot 5th wheel. We managed to get into the site but it wasn't long enough and completely impossible to level left/right or front/back. There is no phone signal and the ONLY way to change sites is online or by phone. We managed to walk to an area with what seemed to be less than one bar of cell signal, and somehow brought up the Rec.gov app to find out that site 52, next to 53, was available. Narrow camp road with steep drop off right next to site 52 with two trees on either side of campsite and a large rock that had been placed in a ridiculous location near the driveway. Somehow, miraculously, we made it into the site with multiple attempts. And we were able to get an acceptable degree of level to be comfortable. We had a lovely four day stay in this quiet peaceful gorgeous park. Next time we will avoid these sites and go for something in the 60-88 portion of Loop C. Be advised. 🙂 I would doubt that any of the RV length info of the campsites is accurate, though. Plus the road through Loop C is narrow, but navigable with caution. But this park has wonderful features, clear beautiful water, abundance of fishing opportunity, very clean shower house and great camp hosts. Lots of trails to walk, a lovely area with spring fed creeks and "Little Niagara". We would return. If you're a tent camper, you will love it. The tent sites are simply amazing.
