This was one of the most beautiful campgrounds we have seen. I had always heard about Lake of the Arbuckles but we had never seen it until now. The lake, the tress, the sunsets - wow! There are some campsites that have a direct view of the water but it is easy to get over there to see it regardless of where you are. The camping spaces are big and it is easy to maneuver into them. All of the hookups are on the left where they are supposed to be (no sewer but there is a dump station on the grounds, of course). And if you are worried about your gray water tank, fear not! The shower facility on the campground is very nice (and it is solar heated so it is very eco-friendly).

This is one of the prettiest places to camp in Oklahoma. The campground is clean. We have a trailer and the concrete pads are great. Water and electric at each site with a black water dump on your way out of the campground. Fire pit, picnic table and shepherds hook at each site provides everything you need. The lake is beautiful and there is plenty to do around the lake or in the town of Sulphur. STAY HERE! You won’t be sorry!

The campground host at the Point is the friendliest of all the host’s we have met in 15 years of camping at the Point. The Point is our favorite campground. Sulfur is a neat town to wander around in and having a great host to visit with when back at the campsite tops it off. We live in central OK and Chickasaw NRA is our “go to” camping spot - can’t say enough good about it!

We stayed here for 3 nights. Very nice, quiet campground with a nice level pad and space between sites that offer some privacy and plenty or room. Just a short drive to the water and trails within the park. We also visited the Travertine Nature Center ( a short drive in to Sulphur). Definitely worth it. Some nice trails and the ranger in the Nature Center was helpful. The Chickasaw Cultural Center is also a great place to visit. It is located on the entrance road to the campground.
