Beautiful location, my first and so far favorite campsite. Nice grassy space and close dumpsite and trash disposal on the way out.

There was no water hook up where we were, but the bathrooms were right there, so we didn't mind. Easy leaving we got to skip the dump station! The women's bathroom was extremely clean, but my husband found himself having to take Clorox wipes with him every time. Little boys are hard to train I assume, or I hope. I would go back for another visit.

The gate attendants provided outstanding customer service. I errored: I thought I had reservations for campsite 45 till 8th, I was one day off. the attendant moved us to campsite 16 for one night....then we moved to campsite 48 on the 9th. Thanks so much to the attendants for their help!! Looking forward to our next stay June 20th - 30th in campsite 49.

Was a great weekend away from the hustle and bustle. The staff are super friendly and were able to answer my questions about fishing permits and what was biting. Would recommend taking some water recreation as the waters great. Super clean onsite bathrooms and showers, great work staff.

Very good campground. Not crowded like most of the ones I've been too. We will visit this one many times.

This is a really nice place to camp. The park managers are very friendly and attentive to the entire park and the guests. They really made us feel welcome. The location is amazing! Many of the sites are right on the water in a wind-protected cove with lots of fishing opportunities right in the campground plus a nice boat ramp right there in the park. The whole family came out and we caught tons of fish literally right at our campsite. The park has plenty of trees for shade and even some wooded areas at the edges. The sites are nice, most with electric and water hookups. They have picnic tables at each site as well as a fire pit and a grill plus additional "prep" tables to prepare food on next to the grill and a pole with a hook to hang a lantern. The entire park and the restrooms are nice and kept clean by the park staff. There is also a very nice dumping station for RVs.
As far as cell phone reception, we have US Cellular and had a very good signal the entire time. One friend had AT&T and also reported a great signa. Several of the family and friends that visited were using Verizon and did complain about a poor signal... something to be aware of as of 04/21/2021 at the time of our visit.
The showers are the main thing that could use some improvement. The showers on the east side of the park (at least for the men) are designed so that you actually shower in a small private stall, but have to dry off and get dressed in a common area with zero privacy. The newer showers on the west side of the park are nice and private and the water gets very hot which is great but the shower head is like a drinking fountain that trickles out with very little pressure. Rinsing off did take considerably more effort than it should have. While it is not at all a deal-breaker, if they would fix that and install better shower heads with better pressure I'd give this park a full 5 stars.
Overall, we really did enjoy our week long stay and will definitely vacation and camp here again!
