We stayed in site 58. Enjoyed the site and the location. The people before us did not clean up and the concrete picnic table had some kind of dried cereal or candy stuck to it. We scraped it off and washed a little and was good to go. The flush toilets and showers appeared clean however the one I went to did not have any toilet paper or paper products to dry hands. We liked the side of the lake that housed site 58 but the other side had less space between sites. Probably caught it on a bad day so I would try again if I had a site in the same section 58 was located.

Park hosts are super helpful at this location. The 50 amp sites are somewhat crowded end to end but overall, this is a nice place close to home.

Overall experience was great, campground was in fantastic shape. People were very friendly and the restrooms were very clean. Only drawback was some of the fellow campers did not abide by the quiet time which made sleeping in a tent a little rough. Next time we will seek out a more remote spot within the park.

We stayed 2 nights in H01 which is a handicapped site with sewer hook up. It is right next to the bathroom. We were here in February so there weren’t many here. It was quiet and peaceful at the campground but the first night after 10 pm to midnight we heard gunshots in the distance but the second night heard no gunshots. The view of the lake was great. The bathroom is good but had no soap. My husband said the shower was for short people and was not very warm but it was adequate. A note on the door said bathroom was closed from 7 pm to 7 am. I’m sure that is because it’s winter. Our sewer hook up didn’t work very well because it was not covered so it was full of leaves and it was broken. It needs to be fixed. I would like to come back in the fall.

Site H01, Full Hookups. Only site that has full hookups, bathhouse and dump station next door. We never had an issue with the dumpstation or bathhouse, bathhouse was clean and usable. We had to cut our stay short and without asking, we were refunded for the days we didn’t stay. Sprint coverage was bad, so we couldn’t stay and work. Excellent customer service!!
