Be careful on site selection if looking for shade. Most slabs run east/west with shade trees on north or south - good for sitting, not so good to shade RV.

We love Chisholm Trail camping and Waurika lake for the space between camping sites and the friendly staff. The grounds are clean and well maintained.

We really enjoyed our week camping at Waurika lake Chisholm Trail. My only complaint was that we were under the impression that the bathrooms had showers. & water at each campsite. But that will not stop us from returning.

My family and I love coming to this area but the restroom areas are terrible. The bath areas are unusable.
Something really needs to be done!

The public restrooms are very run down and very dirty. The large dumpsters not emptied during the 10days we were there, so they were over full with trash blowing all over. The grass at the camp sites needed mowing, it was knee high.
