What Guests Are Saying
Alsea Falls Recreation Site is a beautiful, well-maintained campground that offers spacious, private campsites and easy access to scenic hiking trails, including a lovely trek to Alsea Falls. Reviewers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, clean facilities, and the charming, rainforest setting. While some noted minor issues with bathroom maintenance and road noise, overall, the campground is highly recommended for a relaxing getaway in nature.

Loved this campground! Ours had a beautiful trail to the river. Fairly secluded, beautiful scenery.

Alsea is simply a lovely rainforesty area. The camp sites are very large and #2 is very private. One hears people going to the bathroom building, but their are no campsites adjacent to #2.

Always an enjoyable camping experience at Alsea. Site 15 is private yet a quick walk to the stream and the nice trails. Sad to see what appears to be multiple no shows while people are trying to find a spot to camp.

Beautiful campground with great access to the falls, and good privacy between sites. Water pumps and dishwater drains easily accessible near our site. Wish the camp host had been more proactive at enforcing quiet hours - one site near us kept us up until the wee hours talking loudly and splitting firewood(?!).

John the campground host is friendly and runs a tight ship. Bathrooms are clean. Micro trash is picked up. People observe the rules. It feels safe.

Beautiful campground. Used one of the limited access sites. Nice and flat, wheelchair accessible table, gravel rather than dirt.

If people could obey leash laws or at least have their dogs under control the experience would have been much better.

The camp host was absolutely rude, couldn't get out of his chair to help. The people at #9 wouldn't stop yelling at us because our dogs were playing and barking and enjoying the wildlife. We showed up at 5pm to set up camp and left before noon the next day. Didn't even stay the entire time I paid for. The toilets were absolutely nasty and had ZERO light. I will NOT be going back.
