Very peaceful, quiet. Walk to day use and Alsea Falls was a beautiful trek, not difficult and very scenic. No cell coverage, which was expected to be the case. Facilities clean.

I love this campground. The walk up sites are far enough away where you have privacy but not so far spaced apart where it takes forever to walk to the bathrooms. Great for a quick getaway and close to lots of beautiful trails. Ideal for folks looking to mountain bike but tough for folks looks to hike.

Alsea is one of my favorite campgrounds. I enjoy the hiking trails, large sites, fire pits that are great for cooking on, bathrooms have always been clean and well supplied. The hike to the falls is incredible and the trail is maintained. Road noise is minimal.

Nice little campground. Close to the road. Traffic was light, so not much noise. Some sites had more privacy and better access to the river. The hiking trails were well maintained.

Great woods!
The campsite I booked was double-occupancy, so it was spacious and had two picnic tables. The campground was neatly organized and clean. I'd love to come again.

The trails along the creek, from the campground to the Alsea Falls, and to Green Peak Falls, are simply magical.
