Nice campground, right within a short hike of the falls. Bathrooms have a sign saying they may not be up to National Park standards and look the part, with the most flies I’ve ever seen in toilets like this. They don’t attack you or anything but they make the experience more uncomfortable than a vault toilet is to begin with. We checked all of them between the campground and the day use area and they were the same issue. Small trails lead to the river next to the campsite. This site has a tent gravel area that looks big enough for 2 tents. About 30 minutes from service or a town but smooth paved roads all the way.

we were at the primitive tent only sites (#5). We had a great experience with our kids and lots of kid friendly hiking opportunities. No complaints, just a nice visit to Alsea Falls

Great little campground. Has water spigots and clean vault toilets. Peaceful falls as well just a short walk away from the day use area. Just be aware of any active burn bans.

We stayed in campsite 14. Good location, quiet at night. Looking forward to going again next year!
We love the falls. They're beautiful.

We stayed in sites 10 and 11 with friends. We were in 11 and our friends were in 10. These sites are OK but not the best. There is no creek access and they are right between the bathrooms. Site 10 was OK but site 11 frequently smelled like sewage so we ended up doing all of our cooking and eating and hanging out at site 10 which was fine. There are some great hiking trails right from the campgrounds and we went to Alsea Falls a few times and hiked to the other falls - a bit further once. There is no electric but there is ample water around the campground for drinking and dish washing.
