The campground was very nice, well maintained, and the camp hosts were very helpful. The sites were good, and shade was fair. Electric and water hook-ups worked fine. Garbage/recycle pickup was a very good feature. The reason I am only rating the overall experience as good was due to Phillips Lake. Some of the benefits of going to this campground, as described by Recreation.gov, was concession stands at boat ramps, and other activities. We went there at the beginning of August. Water level was at 15%, and lake access was very poor. I promised grandkids the ability to go fishing. Impossible given the fast drop rate of the lake - pure mud. I'm guessing that everything shuts down at this campground after the July 4th weekend. After that, good luck!

Such a nice campsite. We stop here on our way to Idaho. But would like to stay longer. Large private campsites. Clean flush toilets. Very nice.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our site was C3 and very nice. The spaces are very nicely spaced out and the paths through the campground are wonderful for walking through at night. Camp hosts were kind when they went by and no problem with power or water.

We love the campground but the reservoir is in bad shape. Sad to see it so low and beach is dangerous with sharp rocks under mud. Recommend shoes for sure. Facilities and hists great though.
