A beautiful campground but very disappointed with the campground host. Everyone in the campground seemed to follow the routine of the sun - that of going to bed when it gets dark at 7:30pm. The difficult part of going to bed between 8-10pm in order to get a good night's rest before long days of exploring the beautiful area - was the loud disturbing noise of the campground host's generator loudly blasting throughout the whole campsite until we could finally get peaceful rest at 10pm. I realize quiet hours only start at 10pm but the fact that the host was the only one disturbing the peace seemed ridiculous and rude. Would only come back to stay if there was a different/quieter host

The campground was very clean. I liked being on the Deschutes river. Very quiet respectful campers. The bathroom was clean too

The river next to this campground was very beautiful and the camping spots are nice and big. I've rated it 3/5 because the driveway entrance is very rough and the highway is pretty close so you can't escape the road noise. We were only there for one night. There is much to do in the vicinity with many attractions and endless miles of trails for hiking. Highly recommend the Newberry Volcanic area as a vacation destination.

Beautiful spot. Easy in. Easy out. Make sure to stop by local market (eg. Safeway) for certified wood

It’s a beautiful riverside campground, very serene, with a clean pit toilet, and a nice picnic table.
