What Guests Are Saying
Bull Bend Campground offers beautiful river views and spacious campsites with convenient long driveway pull-throughs. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, particularly the toilets. However, there are concerns about fire safety due to the high fire danger, despite some campers ignoring regulations.

The campground was filled with rvs and trailers running generators day and night. And flying drones. It was a nightmare. Why do people bring all these giant noisy machines to a primitive campground where people are trying to get away from the noise and smell of the city? Wisconsin bans generators in all of their state parks. Can't we at least ban generators in primitive campgrounds to give other campers a bit of peace?

Camping here is such a treat! I left four stars because our campsite, #2 didn't have a fire pit which is listed as an amenity. The metal grate was missing and it was a huge bummer. All the other sites had one from what we could tell. Aside from that the river access it top notch and floating around the campground was super relaxing. It's a beautiful location. Google maps took us to the wrong spot. We had to get back onto the paved road and go another mile or so further till we saw a sign for Bull Bend.

Bull Bend Campground has lovely large campsites with lots of privacy...the road getting to the campground is a bit sketchy and I wouldn't bring a trailer. The one drawback of this campground is that there is no fresh water source with exception of the river.
